Veteran Services has begun construction of a cardboard boat for the annual regatta at Evergreen Lake on Saturday April 29.  Students are welcome to join us to help with construction.

The Veterans Center is committed to making the transition of Veterans from the military to SIU Carbondale a seamless process. If you are a Veteran who is interested in attending SIU Carbondale, or have already been accepted, your first step should be to contact the Veterans Services Office. If any questions arise please do not hesitate to contact or stop by.


Saturday November 10:  1000 Veteran Tailgate:  Enter Saluki Row and look for the Veteran Tent.  Food & beverages will be provided.  1300 Military Appreciation Football Game:  Free admission to military members and veterans.

Sunday November 11:  1100 South Side of Pulliam:  Acknowledgement of 100th Anniversary of Armistice ending conflict in World War I.  1400 Veterans Plaza in Carbondale:  Annual Veterans Day Ceremony.
