Fall 2023 Veteran Events
- SIU Homecoming Veterans Gathering: The SIU Alumni Veterans Group will host an informal gathering for alumni, faculty, staff and students who are veterans or active duty military for pizza and refreshments in the courtyard of Woody Hall beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023. - Veterans Day: ROTC cadets will conduct a vigil at the flagpole across from Woody Hall, wreath laying and veterans day ceremony at 11:00 which will include recognition of Harvey Welch.
- Military Appreciation Football Game Tailgate: November 18, 2023 Salukis vs Indiana State. Tailgate begins at 10:00 AM and Game time is 1:00 PM. Location and details TBD.
